Rice & Curry I Thai & Asian Bistro

Wow YUMMY! That a pleasant experience finding this restaurant was in Horsham. A breath of fresh air. The Thai food here can compete in the New York Thai scene. That's how good it is. I always judge a Thai restaurant by how good their pad Thai sauce is. Rice and curry did not disappoint. I came here with one friend and was seated promptly. We ordered the chicken Pad Thai, Thai ice tea, honey lemon tea (worth the extra $1), Pineapple Fried Rice, and the delicious mango sticky rice. Wow. Not a single dish disappointed. My only concern with this restaurant is it's $$$. The bill came to around $30 a person. I hope they reduce the price if inflation decreases. I'd love to come back and try some other dishes.

Pretty gross tasting tom ka soup. It was fishy, without fish, and the chicken in it was definitely not seasoned. The broth was poorly created. It's like they forgot coconut milk.The mushrooms smelled like they weren't even cleaned. Panang curry vegetables were under done, and broth had little flavor. Would have let it be if the guy in there wasn't so condescending. Acting like we've never eaten Thai food before in our lives before coming to his establishment. Not only is his cooking poor, but so are his manners.

Highly recommend "Rice & Curry" Thai restaurant in Maple Glen! A friend and I dined their last night. The dining room is lovely, the food was delicious, and the service was excellent. It's BYOB. We shared a salad and each had an entree. My friend had Spicy Noodles with Duck, with the duck skin removed (a gamechanger to get rid of the fatty, chewy stuff we both don't like). It was delicious! I had the Massaman Curry and it was perfect! The total bill was $47. There weren't many people dining in last night, which is a shame, though they do a brisk take-out business. Try Rice & Curry!

This used to be the best Thai restaurant in the area. Lately, they have been skimping on the amount of chicken in their chicken dishes. My reason for writing this review, however, was the AWFUL service experienced last night. We waited 30 minutes for someone to take our order. The appetizers came out in a reasonable time. Our water glasses were not refilled. I noticed one table leave before they received their food. We waited 45 minutes for our entrees to arrive, and only 2 of the 4 people at our table were served. After both of them finished their meals, I had to go into the kitchen to ask for our other entrees. They were finally delivered with no apology. The food (I had the chicken Penang curry) was delicious. We had to track down someone to give us our bill. I expected some sort of discount for having to wait so long. Nope. I asked the server about this. Mistake as I then needed to wait another 20 minutes to have an updated bill delivered. Nobody was around to take our credit cards and still nobody was refilling our water glasses. Back to the kitchen to find someone to take our money. As much as I enjoy the food, I will not be going back here anytime soon. Shame as I live close enough to walk here.
